Keet Seel National Monument in Arizona
Corn cobs, remnants of the last ancient meal of these Anasazi, continue to strew the floor of Keet Seel, on the Navajo Nation in northeastern Arizona. From the edge of the village it is a sixty-foot descent down to the floor of Tsegi Canyon and another 8.5-mile hike back to civilization.
